Michael Bruce, Instructor, has been training and competing in agility since 1997 and teaching agility since 1999.  Michael has loved dogs all his life. He had been a Border Collie lover for almost 9 years before he found Dog Agility. It is through his Border Collies that he has realized just how truly intelligent dogs are, much more than we give them credit for. Since taking “just one 8 week class and that’s it!”, Dog Agility has changed his life's focus. Or as Heather says, “Our life has gone to the dogs!”

Michael’s training philosophy is that of a team mate, not a boss. He believes strongly in developing the relationship and bond with the dog before entering any dog sport, particularly agility. Michael is a dedicated and thorough Instructor who truly enjoys working with all breeds and mixed breeds of dogs to help them reach their optimum potential. His classes are relaxed, yet structured with plenty of good feedback and help for each student.

 

Heather Bruce has been a teacher and 4H Leader with over 30 years experience as a class organizer and "Social Conveynor".  With a graphics, art and dog lover background, as well as a love of the sport of Agility, she wholeheartedly supports what Agility can do to enhance the relationship between the dog and handler/owner. Heather manages and oversees classes and special events at Every-Buddy’s and is the Official Rooting Gallery for Every-Buddy’s Students.
